Top 10 Homeschool Buys:
#1- Learning Resources Magnetic U.S. Map Puzzle
A fan favorite is this puzzle map because it is perfect for kinetic learners.
This map is perfect for young learners because the pieces are easy to grab and click into place easily.
Each piece features something that the state is famous for like a landmark or staple crop.
You can get all types of repetition through these products from where the states go, to their main products, and name practice.

#2- Learning Resources Pretend & Play Cash Register w/ Calculator
No homeschool or play area is complete without a cash register.
It is solar-powered so no batteries needed and it comes with play money plus a credit card.
It is one of the best items to have for imaginative play and even makes the cha-ching sound a normal register makes when it opens and closes.

#3- Educational Insights Geosafari Jr. Talking Microscope
This microscope is so cool because it leaves your student feeling like a real scientist.
It only takes a few batteries and your little can be up and going on a scientific adventure.
Since it comes with slides there are already things to examine and it even comes with voiceovers detailing facts and asking different science questions.
And unlike a real microscope, it has two eye openings so smaller children can simply look in without trying to close an eye.

#4- Cool Toys Monkey Balance Math Game
This math balancing game helps students practice the different ways numbers are presented.
They will see the numbers and have to use manipulatives to make the numbers even out the monkey.
There are even cards that can be used by younger students to see how many monkeys they should have with each card.
It is a fun way to learn and not realize they are learning.

#5- KangRuiZhe Montessori Wood Blocks Sorting Puzzle Sorter
I love anything with manipulatives because it seems to be the best way to keep little hands busy and out of things they shouldn’t be getting into.
This pegboard is the perfect way to practice counting and emphasizing the amount while referencing the number at the same time.
And these wood pieces make it very durable.
My tip would be once they are done take the pieces and keep them in a plastic baggy for storage. Or you end up with plenty of missing pieces.

No homeschool is complete with a set of simple baby blocks.
Being exposed to the alphabet and numbers are an excellent way to subconsciously start teaching them at a young age.

#7 EOFEEL Montessori Wooden Alphabet Box
This is the priciest item on the list. I love this set because the pieces move and can be used on worksheets, mini-books, and lots of other activities.
So for the price, you can get unlimited uses from it compared to its foam or plastic counterparts.
Overall, it is very easy to understand why I recommend this letterbox despite the price.
Alphabet practice starts from letter recognition, CVC words, blends, all the way up to reading chapter books.
So having a durable set will always come in handy.

#8 AIPINQI Anatomy Apron
This was one of the best things I could have ever purchased. It makes teaching anatomy so easy and relatable.
The apron can be worn and the organs align to their bodies for a real anatomy lesson.
The organs are even removable, so you can have them practice putting them back where they belong.

#9 X-ACTO Ranger 55 Wall Mount Pencil Sharpener
This one may not align directly with teaching, but it is an incredible investment nonetheless.
I used to think electric sharpeners were the way to go, but between trying to find battery replacements or sharpener burnouts I decided to go old school.
And now I will never turn back. Little ones love sharpening the pencils this way too which helps to prepare for the next day.
And my favorite part…it prevents those constantly broken pencils that happen with the small handheld sharpeners.

#10 Learning Resources Giant Inflatable Solar System
Space is a favorite topic in my household. And these life-size pieces are so much fun.
They vary in size the way they should look in space.
And for someone like myself who grew up where Pluto was considered a planet. I find joy in the fact that they include a little Pluto too.
In addition, to having a repair kit, Earth’s moon, and all the features of each planet displayed. There is nothing that compares.

There are so many great homeschool finds everywhere. And remember they don’t have to cost a lot.
But sometimes a great find is worth a little money. I find joy in finding other uses for any homeschool item I buy.
Always remember you can find other great options especially books and things at Thrift stores and Dollar stores as well.
Amazon just happens to be one of my favorites because I can get all the things I need and love super fast at the tip of my fingers.
