Did you know there is a Grandparent’s Day?
It’s always falls on the second Sunday in September.
In honor of a holiday that often gets overlooked but deserves all the recognition I created a freebie focusing on grandparents and the children who helped them earn that title.
So if you are looking for a way to practice reading with your young student and build on their concept of words then you will want to grab this FREE printable.
This interactive reader comes with tracking dots is perfect for students who have some reading practice but need to build on their reading fluency.
Through repetitive text and a simple story, your student can work to reinforce their reading skills plus build on several other skills.
How Dot Trackers Improve Reading:
The dots under each words helps your student understand that the word they are speaking matches the printed word that they can see.
It also provides a guide for your student rather than having to use their finger to follow along as they read.
Overall, dot readers can help your little ones build their confidence as a reader and phonetically decode words.
And this freebie is super easy to use.
